"I can't rate the food. I had ordered wings, the bartender went to check on them and the cook had left. She told me she was sorry and was more upset about it than I was. I told her not to worry about it and a coworker and I had great service for our drinks. I can't remember her name or I would give her a shout out for excellence."

"Food is fantastic and very reasonably priced compared to other similar bar and grills. Staff is always welcoming and accommodating especially for my lady who requires her wheelchair. Nice and calm environment compared to other similar places I've stopped at. They are also our place for Bills Backers South Jersey during football season. Only complaint I have from my most recent visit was how cold it was inside. I was told the one heater hasnt been working for 3 years. Otherwise, everything is great here."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfort food, kind staff, and a safe solo spot after a long day. I stopped at Sam’s Bar & Grille after a long CEO-style workday — post office runs, emails, job hunting, all of it. My brain said, “We need soup, bread, and no decisions.” I ordered the tomato soup and grilled cheese and they gave it a lil' razzle. The soup had that roasted, smoky tomato flavor that tastes like someone actually cared about the pot , and the grilled cheese had a little twist that made it more than just bread and cheese. Portions were big in the best way — real “your auntie told you to sit down and eat” comfort food. The staff was so kind. They checked on me, made sure I had what I needed, and let me sit and read in peace. I got to finish an entire book while watching the game in the background — the book didn’t pay the bill, but it was great company. TVs were playing sports, people were laughing, and it still felt calm enough for me to enjoy my meal without feeling out of place eating alone. I felt safe and welcome the whole time. Access & practical notes: Parking: I parked in the lot right outside and walked straight in. Mobility: From what I experienced, it was an easy, no-step walk from the parking lot into the restaurant, which is helpful for folks with mobility concerns, strollers, or anyone who doesn’t do stairs. Vibe: Casual bar & grill, well lit, plenty of seating, come-as-you-are energy. Big thank you to the staff at Sam’s for making a tired travel nurse/CEO/reader feel welcome and looked after. Overall, it was exactly what I needed: hearty food, a relaxed atmosphere, and a safe solo spot to exhale after a long day. I’ll definitely be back."

"I am working on a home remodeling project across the street from Sam's. As is custom the entire crew gets lunch every Friday reward of the great company we all work for. We decided on the bacon cheeseburgers with tater tots. We were all surprised at how good they were. We were all super full which made it difficult to get back to it. Nevertheless, we will be getting lunch here again. Loved it!"

"Sam’s Bar and Grille is a great bar that has a nice staff who are very helpful and accommodating. They have an outside area that has heaters which works very well and kept the whole outside warm when it was current below freezing outside. Their menu selection could be a bit bigger but they are a bar and everything they have on the menu tastes great. Can’t wait to come back!!!"
